Beer Description
Brewing was very much a part of farm life in old Norway. Indeed farmers were required by law to make beer & could loose their lands if this duty was neglected.
Custom called for a specialy hearty but thirst quenching ale at harvest-time. This Hesjeol- or harvest ale is a recreation of this beer style.
