Beer Description
A hoppy, slightly bitter beer, with a light body and roasty finish. Brewed like a normal IPA until the mash midpoint when we added 25lbs of debittered roasted grain to the top, which gives the beer it’s dark color. The brew was finished normally and hopped with varieties typical of a New England style IPA, and fermented with the same strain of yeast as our Highlands Haze. A dark beer with a little bite, perfect for the dark days of winter.
