Around The Bend Fool's Folly

Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Illuminated Brew Works, Fools Folly is a Belgian-style Saison of uncompromising quality. It would seem almost farcical to try to improve upon the complexion of what we brewed together. Almost. We accepted the fool’s errand, adding yet another layer of luscious, fruity character by dosing this brew with four different kinds of Michigan-grown, whole cherries. The resulting ale has a slightly pinkish hue, an effervescent charm in the glass and a fruity-ester aroma that will have your olfactory fawning. Malt flavor forms a solid base and is balanced by the distinct and complex nature of both Illuminated’s proprietary yeast strain and the assemblage of ripe cherries.
