The taste is full bodied grain with lots of green apple and light but persistent hints of pine and herbs, with a light bitterness that persists through to the finish.
Definite bready malt dominant flavour. Light husky grain with some resiudal sweetness, but never steps in to maibock territory though it sure hints at it. Grassy hops with a hint of sage.
To the nose, Edel is mostly hops mixed with a biscuit sweetness and a freshly baked bread aroma with a hint of some sweet apples and pears. Tastes of light floral hops which start with light biscuit malts, and a sweet buttery bitter finish.
The brewery in Kaufbeuren is dedicated to the Bavarian brewing. I always have. As an independent company, we focus on top quality. This claim connects us with our Allgäu home and he exudes today to Munich and northern Italy. We show where our beer comes from and where it’s at home. We are so very close to our customers. From tradition.
