Buffalo Creek Brewing was a dream and passion of Mike Marr and Josh Czarnik, two friends who met in a Glenview bar many years ago. Mike decided to switch careers from running software companies in the financial services and pharmaceutical space to brewery owner. Josh had been managing restaurant operations and thought a taproom with fresh beer would fit the bill for his next endeavor.
In 2016, they purchased the former Art Studio and Gallery located in Historic Downtown Long Grove and started renovations for a state-of-the-art brewhouse, Bavarian Themed Taproom and Biergarten. With their German and Belgian inspired beers, great team of servers and production staff, Buffalo Creek Brewing has grown to one of the best breweries in the Chicago suburbs. Mike and Josh constantly strive for perfection and always say, “Life is too short for bad beer!”
