Beer Description
A resurrection of a fantastic, if all-but-extinct style of beer. Historically, while the farmers of Northwestern France and Southeastern Belgium drank saison in the Summer months, their counterparts, the coal miners of the same region,consumed grisette. Our example shows yeast-derived aromas of citrus and spice, prior to subtly fruity flavors, and a lightly spicy, dry finish. An homage to miners, and the drinks that slake their thirst, then and now.
