Beer Description
This Imperial Saison was brewed with holy basil and pink peppercorns from the garden of our Head Brewer Kyle Manns. Itβs as homegrown as you can get. We added caramelized wild flower honey from local producer Massey Honey Co. and New Zealand Wakatu and Wai-Iti hops to bring in subtle hints of citrus and tropical fruits. We fermented with authentic French Farmhouse yeast and aged it in Chardonnay barrels that give distinctive flavor and nuance making this beer perfect for a hot day working in the lab. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Iron Fist Brewing Co., this intricate blend will commemorate the 5th Annual OC Brew Ha Ha Craft Beer festival that runs every September in Orange County, CA.
