Girlz In The Hoodie is a nationwide 501©(3) nonprofit organization based in Williamsport, PA with a mission to provide every woman suffering a mastectomy the comfort of a Zip Up Hoodie after their delicate surgery.
While battling chemotherapy herself, the founder found that mastectomy patients often suffer frequent cold in treatment rooms, in addition to feeling sore or having limited range of mobility for dressing. Access to pleasing comfortable garments, which also provide access to chemo ports, is not always easy within hospital boundaries.
