Beer Description
Bursting with bright pineapple and citrus, Off Season is a highly drinkable West Coast IPA designed for a smooth, aromatic-forward experience. A standout lot of Oregon-grown Chinook leads the aroma with intense pineapple notes, supported by a heavy dry hop of Citra, Krush Cryo, and Nelson. The mouthfeel is exceptionally clean thanks to a 50/50 malt split of pilsner and 2-row, while a refined bitterness level allows the oily hop flavors of Mosaic and Citra Dynaboost to shine through a crisp, refreshing finish.
This beer is a collaboration with Gavin at Hetty Alice, whose approach to highly drinkable, refined IPAs has been an inspiration for us. To blend our styles, we built a citrus-heavy kettle base of Motueka, Citra, and Krush Cryo, then dialed back the bitterness to create a profile that is approachable for everyone. Named “Off Season” as a nod to brewing outside the pressure of the competition circuit, this release isn’t about chasing medals, it’s about getting back to the simple joy of making a great beer that we and our friends love to drink
