Beer Description
Definitely getting the semi-tart currant in the aroma, also lots of black cherry with mild musty grains, a hint of damp cotton musk, & some moderately sharp yeast. Taste of heavy currants wild milder prune & black cherry. Lightly tart, pretty dry throughout. A touch of medicinal notes up front but they disperse quickly & do not hamper… Just a touch chalky. Mild grain finish with some woody cotton & almost funky notes. I didn’t think this was barrel aged.
