Built on a foundation of ¾ English-style barleywine and blended with ¼ of our beloved Sleepy Bear imperial stout, the result is a bold, decadent expression we call a black barleywine. Waylon echoes notes of bourbon-soaked chocolate and dark fruit.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Black Barleywine – 12.0% ABV
This barleywine spent 18 months resting in bourbon casks, slowly marrying together rich layers of toasted oak, vanillin and toffee. Built on a foundation of ¾ English-style barleywine and blended with ¼ of our beloved Sleepy Bear imperial stout, the result is a bold, decadent expression we call a black barleywine.
