Beer Description
We teamed up with our talented friends at Caius Farm Brewery in Branford, CT to blend our love of German lagers in this Dortmunder Export Lager with an American hop twist. Brewed with a single decoction mash using Bohemian Floor Malted Pilsner, Carapils, and Munich malts, itβs hopped with Adeena from Crosby Hop Farms which offers herbal, floral, earthy Noble-like character with touches of citrus and pine. The result is a naturally clarified dark golden lager that balances bready malt sweetness with crisp hop bitterness and floral spice. Think a maltier Helles meets the bitterness of a German Pilsner.
