Beer Description
This lager is closer to the festbier that’s traditionally served at the annual beer bonanza than the sweeter, darker Oktoberfest/Marzen versions of the style. Just a touch breadier than a pilsner, but still crisp, balanced, and refreshing.
Well, we did it again. We missed it. We didn’t get our shit together in time to brew a festbier for Oktoberfest, which (confusingly) usually starts in September. But then again, everyone is going to be late to the fest this year because Oktoberfest 2020 was cancelled. So for those who missed the fest, we’re inviting you to The Afterfest. This lager is closer to the festbier that’s traditionally served at the annual beer bonanza than the sweeter, darker Oktoberfest/Marzen versions of the style. Those copper-colored lagers are fun and all, but they’re just a little too cloying to drink by the liter. This is right where we like our beers that are designed to be quaffed in quantities: just a touch breadier than a pilsner, but still crisp, balanced, and refreshing.
