Beer Description
Since we last released a coffee blonde, we’ve had plenty of time for introspection and modification. For this go-around we partnered with our pals from Black & White Coffee Roasters (Raleigh, NC) and selected one of their year round offerings. Aiming to create a latte-like vibe by amping up some creamy sweetness we added milk sugar then rested the beer on coarsely cracked, freshly roasted coffee beans at a rate of nearly 1lb/BBL. The results speak for themselves – beautiful coffee aroma and character from a deceptively colored golden beer. Dextrin malt in the mash helps to add a touch of body while the selected blend of coffee beans bring notes of dark chocolate and a touch of cherry.
