Beer Description

The Bliss family fled the house on the first day of the battle. They left β€œthe doors open, the table set, and the beds made.” The farm was between Union and Confederate lines on July 2nd and 3rd. Both sides tried to control the ground in a seesaw battle. It ended when the farm was burned by the 14th Connecticut Infantry to deny cover to the Confederates for their sharpshooters. This Hazy Farmhouse IPA features Simcoe and Cashmere hops. Aromatic and softly rustic, this IPA merges the juicy vibrance of the hops with a subtle wild edge. We taste ripe peach, lemon lime and melon notes, drifting into hints of pine, lemongrass, and dried herbs. The funky yeast character lingers just beneath the haze offering whispers of hayloft and cracked pepper. Dry. Juicy. Fruity, yet Earthy.
