Japanese Lager made with “hinoki” (Japanese cypress) thinned to preserve the water sources in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture.
Kosuge Village in Yamanashi Prefecture, where the Genryu Brewery is located, is surrounded by many cedar and cypress trees. The thinned wood produced by thinning to protect the healthy growth and ecosystem of these rich forests is a renewable resource.
