Beer Description
English yeast and Fuggle and Cascade hops with a blend of malts. The resulting brew features candied apricot and spice on the nose, with a marmalade and biscuit flavor profile. Medium bodied with a clean bitter finish.
Historical recreation of one of the original IPAs heralding from Burton-on-Trent England. Originally brewed by the Allsop Brewery and head brewer Job Goodhead, our interpretation uses English yeast and Fuggle and Cascade hops with a blend of malts. The resulting brew features candied apricot and spice on the nose, with a marmalade and biscuit flavor profile. Medium bodied with a clean bitter finish.
