Beer Description
Hortensia is our Unfiltered Southern German-style Pilsner inspired by our travels in Bavaria, Germany. Crafted with German malted barley, Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, and our house lager yeast blend, this lager is crisp, refreshing, and complex. Single-decocted, naturally carbonated, and lagered for over eight weeks, we taste notes of lemon peel, spice, honey, and freshly baked bread. It is named after Hortensia (1st century BCE), who was a famous orator during the end of the Roman Republic. She is known for defending women’s rights in front of the senate of Rome.
