Beer Description
Our Alley-oop Dunkel employs a large percentage of German Dark Munich malt, adding a mild toastiness reminiscent of bread crust. Malt really is the emphasis here, but German Tettnanger hops provide just enough bitterness and flavor to assist the malt.
Meaning βdarkβ in German, Dunkels are smooth, malty lagers that range in color from amber to a dark reddish brown. Our Alley-oop Dunkel employs a large percentage of German Dark Munich malt, adding a mild toastiness reminiscent of bread crust. Malt really is the emphasis here, but German Tettnanger hops provide just enough bitterness and flavor to assist the malt.
