Beer Description
Brewed just days before the 2020 shutdown, Engineer Batch 2 is a 100% Carolina Malt House grain base mixed with aged and fresh hops. This golden liquid was then added to our puncheon barrel 1371 that contained only the yeast from our first batch of Engineer. The culture dates back to 2015 and has only lived in oak.
Over the last 4 years we’ve sampled this beer tasting its progression. Finally, it reached the desired lemon funky tartness to make our taste buds sing. This bottle conditioned beer offers a light body with low carb allowing you to taste the complexity and flavor depth created by the aged hops.
