Beer Description
Imperial Pastry style Stout aged 18 months in a combination of Four Roses and A. Smith Bowman Bourbon Barrels. Our biggest and most decadent anniversary stout to date, this addition to our “Affair” anniversary stout series was inspired by sweet, gooey, Cinnamon Rolls.
To bring forth flavors reminiscent of this freshly baked treat, we kicked things off by brewing a thick base beer and added Lactose. From there, we conditioned the liquid on pounds of fresh Vanilla and an absurd amount of whole cinnamon rolls. Pouring a deep black with a thin mocha-colored head, this beer opens up with aromas of sweet sugar, boozy bourbon, rich caramels, fresh vanilla, and raw cinnamon sticks.
