Source Fall Saison

DRY | SPICY | EFFERVESCENT

This autumnal farmhouse saison was brewed with all locally sourced @rabbit_hill_malthouse grains, including floor malted pilsner, Munich, and rye malt. It pours a beautiful, fall-foliage orange hue into a glass with a large, quickly forming head of tightly beaded white foam.

This strong brew drinks with a just medium-light body and finishes dry and crisp with a pleasant alcoholic warming sensation. The flavor profile is driven by the spicy phenolics and fruity esters from a very expressive saison yeast strain, which are complemented by a touch of malted rye spice, and herbal, spicy, and citrusy hop character.

We get notes of banana bread, clove, baked apple fritter topped with vanilla iced cream, chamomile, bubblegum, bergamot, ripe Bosc pear, and herbal/ woodsy hop character.
