Source Into The Shallow

Featuring the hops Mandarina Bavaria, Motueka, El Dorado, & Cryo Citra Into The Shallow is new age, West Coast-style, sessionable IPA featuring the brilliant clarity, lighter body, and crisp dryness of a traditional West Coast IPA without all of the bitterness up front. To create this modern IPA fusion, we combined several late hopping techniques more commonly utilized in “hazy juicy” IPAs to saturate the beer with hoppy aromas and flavors without overwhelming hop bitterness. Into The Shallow was brewed with extra pale premium pilsner malt and flaked rice to lighten the body and color. Saaz hops were added to the mash to boost the aromatic thiol precursor content in the wort and then a dash of Mandarina Bavaria and Motueka hops were added.
