Conditioned on Prickly Pear and Corsica Clementine

Prickly Fruit is a heavily fruited sour ale that was brewed with a base of pale barley malt, wheat malt, and flaked oats.

It was fermented with a special, lactic acid producing yeast strain and then conditioned on an abundance of purple, Peruvian, prickly pear and juicy, Corsica clementine.

Prickly Fruit pours a vibrant magenta hue into a glass and leaves behind frothy rings of fruity foam with each gulp.

This sour ale opens with aromas of prickly pear and bright citrus, drinks with a luscious medium body, and closes with a refreshingly tart, fruity finish.

We get notes of juicy prickly pear, watermelon Jolly Rancher candy, sweet Corsica clementine, floral hibiscus, and SweeTart candies.
