Grisette was traditionally an everyday thirst quencher with a substantial portion of malted wheat, low in alcohol and designed to be consumed fresh – it was the preferred apres-work tipple of the Belgian miner. Our “double grisette” is a modernized version of that concept. Brewed entirely with Cleveland-made malt from Haus Malts, expressive saison yeast, and a few mysterious tricks, this refreshing ale leads with bold white pepper, pine resin, papaya, and cedar aromas.
