Featuring ube as its star ingredient, the recipe for this beer was masterfully created by our QA/QC Manager, Nate, who was inspired by the delectable purple desserts of his Filipino heritage. Uncovered Roots invites you to explore a world of flavors all within one extraordinary stout—combining organic ingredients from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Peru, along with a Brazilian and Colombian coffee blend from Steady State. It boasts aromas of coconut macaroon, ube cookie, and chocolate wafer; every sip unveils tastes of ube jam, baker’s chocolate, and freshly brewed coffee. As a brew that was designed to bring people together, we encourage you to crack one open and share this unique purple-colored beauty with family, old friends, new friends, and everyone in between.
