Beer Description
Semiprecious is a pétillant naturel plum cider, a co-fermentation of apples and plums. The apples are both wild and cultivated (varieties include Liberty, Frequin Rouge, Old Pearmain, Cox’s Orange Pippin, Roxbury Russet, and Orlean), while the plums come from one very elderly, hardworking European tree from their Disciple home base atop Mount Hunger Road. The plums were harvested, pitted, and frozen in the late summer and added into cider in the spring. One month co-fermented and then bottled with fresh cider to create a very light bubble under cap.
