The Pilsner style, originating in 1842 in the city of Plzen, Bohemia, was the first true pale lager – combining traditional Bavarian cold-fermented lagering techniques with modern English pale malting technology. Bolder and more full-bodied than the American pils, yet softer and mellower than the German pils, our take on this Czech-style classic features a creamy body balanced by a lingering but soft bitterness.
