We let NSIS hang out in Buffalo Trace barrels for about 4 months to give it a chance to mature. Well, it did just that. The oak brings out more of the vanilla notes and mellows what little bite there was in the original.
We let NSIS hang out in Buffalo Trace barrels for about 4 months to give it a chance to mature. Well, it did just that. The oak brings out more of the vanilla notes and mellows what little bite there was in the original. It weighs in at 10% ABV and approx. 50 IBU. The barrel aging balances out the strong sweetness found in the original. The toasted vanilla is stronger than ever. Great mouth feel. Incredible smell and excellent finish.
