Source Superbloom

Superbloom is a medium-light bodied Imperial IPA that pours a brilliant golden color into a glass and crowns itself with a layer of white foam that blooms with glorious Cascadian aromas sure to make a West Coast hop head blush.

It was brewed with pale barley and a touch of light crystal malt and hopped thoroughly in the mash tun and brew kettle with Cascade & Strata.

We fermented this aromatic hop bomb dry with a special, genetically engineered yeast strain that produces terpenes, or aromatic compounds found naturally in plants like hops, pine, flowers, citrus peel, etc.

Superbloom was then dry hopped aggressively with more Cascade & Strata, fortifying this heady brew even further with additional hop oil derived terpenes, synergistically elevating the aromas and flavors to a whole new level!

Superbloom drinks with a clean, firm bitterness up front, followed by waves of delicious American hop flavors, and ending with a crisp, bitter-snappy finish.

We get notes of pink grapefruit, fragrant orange blossoms, bittersweet pine, passion flower, dank, grassy, Pacific Northwest hop fields, lime peel, geraniums, candied oranges, ripe pear, and lemon zest.
