Source Hoppy Pils

Hoppy Pils pours a brilliant, light golden color into a glass and forms a large pillowy head of white, aromatic, drinkable foam.

We brewed this refreshing lager with German pilsner malt and hopped it generously in the kettle with a trio of German aroma hop varietals – Hüll Melon, Mandarina Bavaria, & Grüngeist (“Green Ghost”).

Hoppy Pils was fermented dry with a traditional German yeast strain and dry hopped with more Hüll Melon, Mandarina Bavaria, & Grüngeist.

Post fermentation we waited patiently for many weeks while this crispy lager rested cold in a horizontal tank conditioning until we deemed it was finally ready for packaging.

The resulting brew drinks smoothly with a light body and delivers a wonderful array of delicate hoppy aromas and flavors, moderate hop bitterness, and a crisp, super refreshing finish.

We get notes of stepping foot into a German bierkeller, delicate white peach, straw, passionfruit, white cracker, crusty baguette, floral essence, Mandarin orange wedges, and honeydew melon.
