Beer Description
This 8.4% ABV imperial porter, brewed with ancho chiles and cacao nibs, is big and rather viscous, with a smooth roasted malt character. A bit of smoke, a bit of spice, and a bit of heat continue through your sip, culminating in the flavor of the cacao nibs providing a bookend of a smooth roastiness at either end.
Piqued your interest? Yeah, we thought so. The Spicy Chocolate Alliance, along with both its brewers, will be available Friday the 14th at the Trappist in Oakland. (To be clear, the beer will be for sale, not the brewers.)
