Source Kanaka Maoli Punch Sweet Tart Ale

TROPICAL | FRUITY | VANILLA Kānaka Maoli Punch is a Sweet Tart Ale brewed with pilsner and wheat malts and acidified in the kettle with a blend of lactobacillus before being boiled, cooled, and fermented with a fruit-forward, ale yeast strain. This brew is our take on a tropical, Hawaiian-style, fruit punch flavor profile. It was conditioned on red cherry, apricot, papaya, pineapple, blood orange, strawberry, and a touch of Madagascar vanilla bean. Kānaka Maoli Punch pours a vivid red color into a glass and bursts with sweet, tropical, citrus, and stone fruit flavors which are met and balanced by bright and zingy lactic acidity, resulting in a refreshingly tart, fruity finish. We get notes of tropical fruit punch, sangria, mixed fruit jellies, segmented grapefruit dusted with sugar, citrus soda pop, tart candies, and summer camp memories.
