Beer Description
This traditional beer style has enjoyed a revival in the past 15 years. Like all stouts, it features the coffee-like taste of roasted barley; what distinguishes oatmeal stout is the body and smoothness of oats combined with the sweetness of caramel malt. This batch is bittered with Northern Brewer hops, an English variety well suited to this style. As always it is unfiltered.
