Dragonslayer is a traditional Russian Imperial Stout Bold & Roasty. We source freshly emptied, unrinsed Buffalo Trace Bourbon Barrels and let Dragonslayer age in them for over a year. During this time the beer transforms. It is infused with bourbon and acquires notes of oak and vanilla from the charred barrels. Barrels serve as perfect vessels for aging. The complex flavors come together leaving the beer incredibly smooth.
