Beer Description
. Our 3 T Rye Tripel is brewed in the style of Belgian Monastery Tripels, but with a few twists. For extra spiciness we added rye to the mash, and for character we used less-refined turbinado sugar, instead of imported clear Belgian candi sugar.
Long ago the site of the world’s largest indoor sawmill, 3 T Road allows access to Blakely Harbor Park, where you can still see the pilings from the old mill in the harbor. Our 3-T Rye Tripel is brewed in the style of Belgian Monastery Tripels, but with a few twists. For extra spiciness we added rye to the mash, and for character we used less-refined turbinado sugar, instead of imported clear Belgian candi sugar. Floral and spicy hop notes come from the use of American-bred noble varieties. Malts: Pilsner, Rye, Aromatic, and Acid. Hops: Sterling, Apollo, and Crystal.
