Beer Description
Light bodied ale with tremendous peach flavor and a little bit of pie crust thrown in.
Locust Grove Peach Ale is a collaboration with Locust Grove Fruit Fam in Milton, NY. Over 800 pounds of peaches and nectarines were depitted and processed then added cold side directly to the fermenter. Pilsner malt makes up the light base with a good helping of malted wheat. Then Champagne yeast was used to lighten it up. The result is a light bodied ale with tremendous peach flavor and a little bit of pie crust thrown in. And yes there is still some pulp!
