Beer Description
The Silver and Bronze medalists in the Imperial IPA category at the 2017 GABF, have come together to brew a collaboration Imperial IPA that is seriously “Heavy Medal”. Heavy Medal is a 9% ABV, 73 IBU Imperial IPA collaborated upon by Knee Deep Brewing Company and Danville Brewing Company. Amarillo, Citra, Galaxy and Idaho 7 Hops combine harmoniously to deliver flavors of sweet ripe oranges, and Meyers lemon zest with hints red berries. Bright and fruity up front, this medium bodied DIPA finishes with a smooth dank bitterness that is medal AF.
