Beer Description
Devils Tower is named after the laccolithic butte composed of igneous rock in the Black Hills of northeastern Wyoming.
Our Devil’s Tower stout is equally as dramatic and complex. It starts off as a traditional ‘Export Stout’ in the spirit of those brewed in the British Isles for export to the high courts of Russia in the 18th century, but is quickly brought home with the addition of El Dorado County Petite Sirah. This merriment emboldens the already present dark fruit and candied cherry found in this beer and heightens it with a cleansing acidity and age not normally found in a 10.3% abv beer.
