Belgian Style Quad Brewed with Figs and Molasses. Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels.
When we make big beers, we like to use big words. “Veneration"" or “reverence"" is an homage to the Trappist Brewers of Belgium, the fore-fathers of beer, whose traditions we lean on to create our non-traditional beer. We added figs and molasses to a traditional Quad, and then aged the beer in Rye Whiskey barrels for a deeper complexity. This is our tip of the cap to the legendary Trappist Brewers that have inspired so many craft brewers around the world, and we couldn’t think of a better way to express our veneration.
