Beer Description
Pours a deep and murky reddish brown with a very thin layer of creamy brown lacing that just barely lingers on the surface and forms some large bubbles around the glass, leaves a minimal amount of lacing. Very nice woody notes are up front backed by deep dark fruit notes and a distinct fig note. Kind of the reverse of the scent, the dark fruit notes are up front with a damp woody note towards the end which then combines with the dark fruits and lingers on the palate long afterwards. Gentle carbonation, distinctly thick, sticks to the palate and kind of wakes up the sides of the tongue, very slight alcohol bite
